BOOK CLUBS & SMALL GROUPS

The Package is a great book to share with a book club or in a small group setting.  I believe that the appeal of the book is its honesty in dealing with difficult topics that face us all--topics that we too often deal with alone.  This isolation is driven by the fact that our society creates a stigma of "weakness" around those who "need help". The Package deals unashamedly with many issues--loss of a loved one, difficult sibling relationships, questions about God, divorce, personal failure, and abuse.  I believe that The Package presents these topics in a manner that will spark a lively discussion. Below is a list of questions that can be used to get the discussion going.  Note that while I tried to not give anything away in the questions, you may want to read the book before you review them.
